Cancellation & Refund Policy

The short version
Freediving is weather-dependent and your safety sets the schedule. If the sea is unsafe, we reschedule for free — or refund you in full if no date works. Cancel 7 or more days ahead for a full refund. Within 7 days, you can reschedule for free or take a 50% refund.
Unsafe conditions
The Gulf of Thailand has good and bad days. If the sea state, visibility, or weather makes a session unsafe, we will not put you in the water. When that happens you can reschedule to the next available date at no cost, or — if no date works for your trip — we refund that session in full. The call is always made with your safety first.
If you need to cancel
- 7 or more days before your start date: full refund, no questions asked.
- Within 7 days of your start date: reschedule for free to any available date, or take a 50% refund.
- No-show or same-day cancellation: non-refundable, as the spot and boat are already reserved for you.
Courses run rain or shine
Light rain does not stop a course — we train in most weather. Only genuinely unsafe sea conditions cancel a dive. Theory and pool/confined sessions continue regardless, and water sessions move to the next safe window.
Multi-day courses already in progress
If you start a course and choose not to continue for personal reasons, completed days are non-refundable, but we will always try to reschedule remaining days within a reasonable window so you can finish.
How to request a refund or reschedule
Message Diego Pauel on WhatsApp or email Diego@freedivingkohsamui.com with your name and booking date. We reply within 24 hours. Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days; your bank may take a few extra days to post the credit.
Spearfishing & private trips
Private boat trips (including spearfishing) carry the same weather guarantee. Because a full boat is chartered for your group, the cancellation windows above apply per booking, not per person.
Before you file a chargeback
Please talk to us first — almost everything is solved with a quick message. If you are within the windows above, we will sort out your refund or reschedule directly and far faster than a card dispute.
