Apnea Total Level 1 certification

Go from your first breath hold to diving 15 to 20 meters in 3 days. You will learn equalization, duck diving, and rescue skills in a group of no more than 3 students.

No experience needed. Must be comfortable swimming in open water.

Take your freediving deeper with Frenzel equalization mastery, exhale dives, and advanced breathing techniques. Train at Sail Rock and Koh Tao with individual depth coaching.

How much does a freediving course cost in Koh Samui?

Group courses (up to 3 students): Discovery is 7,500 THB/person for 2 days, Beginner (Level 1) is 9,500 THB/person for 3 days, Advanced (Level 2) is 12,000 THB/person for 3 days. Private courses are also available: Private 1-on-1 ranges from 12,000 to 22,000 THB and Private Duo from 14,000 to 28,000 THB depending on the course. Fun dives are 4,500 THB per person. Spearfishing starts at 24,000 THB per boat. All prices include equipment rental.

Which freediving course should I choose?

If you have never freedived before, start with the Discovery course (2 days) to try it, or the Beginner Course (3 days) for full certification. If you already hold a Level 1 or equivalent, the Advanced Course takes you deeper. Certified freedivers can book Fun Dives for guided ocean sessions. All courses are available as group (up to 3), private duo, or private 1-on-1.

What is included in the course price?

All courses include full equipment rental (wetsuit, mask, fins, weight belt, dive computer), boat trips to dive sites, underwater photos and video, and emergency oxygen on every boat. Certification courses also include Apnea Total certification fees and theory materials. Private courses include the same inclusions with exclusive instructor attention.

How many students per course?

Group courses have a maximum of 3 students per instructor. You can also book a Private Duo (2 people) or Private 1-on-1 for exclusive coaching. Spearfishing trips allow up to 4 guests. This ensures personal attention and close safety supervision on every dive.

What is the difference between group and private courses?

Group courses have up to 3 students sharing the instructor. Private courses give you the instructor exclusively — either 1-on-1 or as a duo with a friend or partner. The training content, dive sites, and certification are identical. Private courses are ideal for couples, friends traveling together, or anyone who wants fully personalized coaching.
