About HTMS Khram

HTMS Khram (originally USS LSM-469) is a 56m Landing Ship Medium that served in the US Navy during WWII before being transferred to the Royal Thai Navy. Sunk as an artificial reef near Koh Phai in 2003, the wreck sits upright on the seabed at 30m with the deck at around 15m. Over two decades of marine growth have transformed it into a thriving artificial reef with huge schools of batfish, resident groupers, and spectacular soft coral growth. Limited penetration is possible.
