About HTMS Chang

HTMS Chang (originally USS LST-898] is a colossal 100m Landing Ship Tank that served in the US Navy during WWII before decades of Thai Navy service. Sunk in 2012 off the southern tip of Koh Chang, it's the largest recreational wreck in the Gulf of Thailand. The wreck sits upright with the bow at just 3m depth and the stern at 32m, making it accessible to a wide range of experience levels. Massive batfish schools, large groupers, and barracuda inhabit the structure.
