Ko Ran Dok Mai is home to a Department of Marine and Coastal Resources (DMCR] coral restoration project. Cinderblock structures serve as nurseries for staghorn coral and disk coral (Turbinaria] transplants, with approximately 48,000 coral colonies restored. The project demonstrates Thailand's investment in marine conservation and offers a unique diving experience seeing reef restoration in action.
