About Haad Yao Reef
Haad Yao (Long Beach] has a reef system extending from both ends of the beach, with coral bommies on a sandy bottom providing habitat for typical Gulf reef fish. The southern end tends to have better coral coverage and more fish life. Easy shore entry from the beach.
Tips
The south end of the beach has the best coral. Avoid the center where boat traffic is heaviest.
