About Southwest Pinnacle

Southwest Pinnacle is a series of granite boulders stacked up from the seafloor at 30m. The entire structure is covered in magnificent sea anemones in every color — purple, pink, orange, green — creating one of the most photogenic underwater landscapes in the Gulf. Schools of barracuda and trevally patrol the blue while groupers hide in the crevices. Bull shark encounters are possible during the calm season.

Tips

Arrive early for the best visibility. Current can push you off the pinnacle, so stay close to the rocks.

Experience Required
