About Hin Ngam (Samui)

Hin Ngam near Koh Samui is a rocky reef that provides decent diving without the journey to Koh Tao or Ang Thong. Granite boulders create overhangs and channels where groupers, moray eels, and barracuda congregate. Visibility can be variable, but on good days this is a surprisingly rewarding site.

Tips

Visibility is best March–May. Not worth visiting during monsoon season.
