About Hin Wong Bay

Hin Wong Bay is one of Koh Tao's best-kept secrets for freedivers. The rocky boulder-strewn bay slopes gently to 12m, with hawksbill and green turtles feeding on the reef almost every day. Shore entry is easy from the beach, and the bay is sheltered from prevailing winds. Multiple resident turtles are so accustomed to divers that close encounters are nearly guaranteed.

Tips

Enter from the left side of the beach and follow the boulder line out. Turtles are most active in early morning.
