About HTMS Sattakut

The HTMS Sattakut (hull 742] was a Landing Craft Infantry vessel that served the Royal Thai Navy before being cleaned and sunk as an artificial reef in 2011. Sitting upright on the sandy bottom at 30m with the deck at 18m, it's perfectly positioned for both recreational and technical diving. The wreck has developed an impressive coating of corals and sponges, attracting schools of batfish, resident groupers, and prowling barracuda. Limited penetration is possible through the bridge and cargo holds.
