About King Kong

King Kong is a quiet dive site between the more popular locations on Koh Tao's western coast. Large granite boulders create channels and overhangs where groupers, snappers, and moray eels reside. The site gets its name from the gorilla-like shape of one of the boulders visible above water.

Tips

A relaxed second-dive option. Good conditions when the east coast is rough.
