About Mango Bay

Mango Bay is a peaceful, sheltered bay on Koh Tao's northern coast with a gently sloping sandy bottom interspersed with coral bommies. The shallow depth and minimal current make it one of the best spots for absolute beginners. The bay acts as a nursery for many reef species, so you'll see clouds of juvenile fish among the branching corals.

Tips

Best in the morning before the snorkel boats arrive. Look for ghost pipefish in the rubble zone.
