About Tanote Bay

Tanote Bay combines above and below-water excitement. The bay's large granite boulders create a dramatic landscape both above the surface (with a famous cliff jump] and below, where channels and overhangs shelter juvenile blacktip reef sharks, turtles, and schools of barracuda. The deeper sections toward the bay entrance reach 18m.

Tips

Swim to the right side of the bay for the best underwater scenery. Morning is best for turtle sightings.

Experience Required

All levels for snorkeling and shallow dives.
